How to Join
The Association is authorized to have 350 family memberships. In a typical year, 20 or so members resign, thereby creating a like number of openings for new members. To provide for an orderly process for receiving new members, the Association maintains a waiting list on a first-come, first-served basis. Once on the waiting list, one need not apply again.
The waiting list is for “in-area” applicants. This list includes applicants who live in a defined residential area, as set forth in the Bylaws. Click here to view the boundary map for in-area memberships.
In addition to regular memberships, there are several types of temporary memberships.
Temporary memberships are offered to applicants on the waiting lists. There is no guarantee that temporary memberships will be available to all applicants on the waiting list, however, every effort is made to accommodate as many applicants as possible.
Summer Temporary memberships result when members elect to go inactive for the current summer season. These memberships are then offered to applicants on the waiting list(s). Those applicants being offered Summer Temporary memberships are notified by mail in April. The number of memberships available is determined by the number of inactive members and will vary year to year.
Summer Limited Use Guest
This membership is for a limited period of time within the current summer season and is available from July 16 until Labor Day.
Fees and Dues
A non-refundable deposit of $40 must accompany the application and is credited to the initiation fee when a membership is offered.
The initiation fee is $1100, and is non-refundable for new members.
If you are unsure whether or not your house resides in the membership boundaries please contact the pool administrator at firstname.lastname@example.org before submitting an application. If an electronic payment is made and the applicant is found to reside outside the NCCSPA boundaries, the payment processing fees paid to Paypal will not be returned.
